On March 10th, KHB partnered with UW Medicine to host a virtual COVID-19 Vaccine Town Hall on Zoom where community members could learn more about the vaccine and have their questions answered by a doctor. Live Khmer interpretation was provided during the event and a recording can be viewed here:

The Khmer Health Board is partnering with the Khmer Community of Seattle King County, Healthpoint, and UW medicine to provide free COVID-19 tests and giveaway items (while supplies last) on Saturday September 19th from 9am-3pm at the Evergreen High School Parking Lot. Additionally, health navigators from Public Health Seattle King County and a representative from Healthpoint will be available to help provide information and resources.

You do not have to be tested in order to get the giveaway items which include:

The event is open to the general public although the event is geared towards the Khmer community as in-person Khmer interpreters will be available. People who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms are encouraged to get tested although you will not be turned away for testing if you are not experiencing symptoms.

Testing can take between 10 to 30 minutes depending on the waiting time. Both walk-up and drive through testing is available.
